How to Clean and Disinfect Hard Surfaces

Clorox® Disinfecting Liquid Bleach (DIN 02459116):

1. Prep

   Pre-wash items and surface.
2. Apply

   Apply disinfecting bleach solution of 120 mL (1/2 cup) of Clorox® Disinfecting Liquid Bleach per 3.8 L of water.
3. Wait

   To disinfect, let stand 5 minutes for all pathogens and 10 minutes for canine parvovirus and feline parvovirus. Heavily soiled surfaces must be pre-cleaned prior to disinfection.
4. Rinse

   A potable water rinse is required for disinfected food contact surfaces such as institutional kitchen/restaurant counters, tables and appliances, and for baby items and toys.

Clorox® Disinfecting Concentrated Bleach (DIN 02488590):

1. Prep

   Pre-wash items and surface.
2. Apply

   Apply disinfecting bleach solution of 80 mL (1/3 cup) of Clorox® Disinfecting Concentrated Bleach per 3.8 L of water.
3. Wait

   To kill SARS-CoV-2 (cause of COVID-19) allow surface to remain wet for 6 minutes. For canine parvovirus and feline parvovirus let stand for 10 minutes. Heavily soiled surfaces must be pre-cleaned prior to disinfection.
4. Rinse

   After disinfecting food processing and preparation areas, rinse surface prior to use.

Clorox® Performance™ Disinfecting Bleach (DIN 02488655):

1. Prep

   Pre-wash items and surface.
2. Apply

   Apply disinfecting bleach solution of 80 mL (1/3 cup) of Clorox® Performance™ Disinfecting Bleach per 3.8 L of water.
3. Wait

   To kill SARS-CoV-2 (virus that causes COVID-19) allow surface to remain wet for 6 minutes. For canine parvovirus and feline parvovirus let stand for 10 minutes. Heavily soiled surfaces must be pre-cleaned prior to disinfection.
4. Rinse

   After disinfecting food processing and preparation areas, rinse surface prior to use.
